Manna born Daryl Jones, raised in Baltimore, MD. The youngest of 5, is no stranger to hard times and death. Manna lost his father at the age of 8, left to be raised by a single parent (Mom). To past time, Manna would read books about Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and Rosa Parks. He was a very good student in school. Manna fell in love with music at a very early age of five years old. Listening to old school R/B and Hip Hop, but became a fan of artists like Big Daddy Kane, Run Dmc, and Rakim to name a few. Manna says “ the rap game has changed, but I have to stay true to my roots!”. He feels these legends gave him the gift, to deliver hart felt stories, party songs, and hard core lyrics. Remembering the days when hip hop and rapping was fun. Manna plans to make a carrier out of doing music. As an artist, writer, and producer, he is well on his way. With songs like “DNA”, and “Baltimore is where I'm from ”, off his debut album “Mannavelle”. Manna give hip hop that good times and story telling music again. Manna is currently a writer and A&R for 3 publishing LLC. Manna has preformed all over Baltimore City. He is no stranger to live and big audiences. Opening up for A-list celebrity artists, has gave him a great experience. Manna’s goal is to become one of raps biggest recording artist,that ever came out of Baltimore, MD. A true pioneer of the game, he plans to give back to his community and schools. Teach kids not to be afraid of their dreams, and “Always Dream Big”.
